Viña Pedrosa
Viña Pedrosa's story is closely intertwined with the terroir and their passion for wine. As a world-renowned venture now, Viña Pedrosa involves two generations of enthusiastic wine connoisseurs. Their 120 hectares of vineyards are the story of a conquest and the foundations of a winemaking dream that has drawn on their ancestors’ wisdom. Their eighty-year-old Tinto Fino vineyard in Pedrosa de Duero in the Spanish province of Burgos unites tradition and respect for the land to strike a perfect natural balance. They believe in high quality winemaking that is in keeping with the times and ensures conservation of the ecosystem.
Tim Atkin, the prestigious Master of Wine, has recognized Mr Daniel Pérez Herrero, the third generation of the Pérez Pascuas family and the Director of Viticulture and Agronomic Projects of Viña Pedrosa, as Viticulturist of the year 2021, and awarded him the Medal of Excellence.
