Chañares Estate Cabernet Franc, Vina Cobos
Vintage 2018
750 ML
HK$498.00
Score: JS94
A round, juicy red with blackberry, cherry, light chocolate and walnut undertones. Medium to full body and firm tannins. Savory and polished. Drink after 2022, but already beautiful.

| Producer Info | Viña Cobos winery is the highly acclaimed wine producer belonging to the legendary international winemaker Paul Hobbs. Having worked in Argentina since 1988, Paul Hobbs became so convinced of the potential of Argentine Malbec that he started his own winery, Viña Cobos, in the heart of Mendoza’s Luján de Cuyo in 1999. Twenty years on and Viña Cobos is one of the most respected producers of single-vineyard Malbec, Cabernet Sauvignon and Chardonnay in Argentina.
The Cobos wines are complex, concentrated, polished and increasingly vibrant. These prestigious wines have been recognized around the globe by critics and consumers alike. Wine Spectator awarded Viña Cobos No.1 spot for an Argentine wine for the fifth consecutive year. James Suckling also highly praised Viña Cobos, making its Cobos Malbec “the most consistently highly rated wine from the country since JamesSuckling.com began”. |
