Sébastien Dampt’s impressive Vaillons all comes from the Beugnons lieu-dit at the eastern end of this well-situated Left Bank Premier Cru. Unwooded, as most of his wines are, it’s wonderfully racy, fresh and stony with lime and fresh lemon notes, salty freshness and vivid acidity.

| Producer Info | BSébastien Dampt is undeniably the rising star of Chablis. He is part of a dynasty that has been making wine in the region for over 150 years. After studying in Beaune, gaining experience around France, and working closely with his father Daniel and brother Vincent, Sébastien created Domaine Sébastien Dampt in 2007. His understanding of and passion for Chablis are clear and we look forward to watching his progress over the coming years.
The Domaine is situated in the village of Milly, where the soil is very chalky, a mix of clay, explains Sébastien Dampt. Split 50/50 between Village wine and Premier Cru, the wines are all vinified and raised in stainless steel tanks to ensure the pure fruited approach and retention of acidity in the classic style, much loved of this venerable region. These wines offer some of the greatest value in Chablis and have a reputation for being more mineral and concentrated.
